Meraki salt scrub review

* I don't know about you but I'm always on the lookout for a great body scrub. Something that with remove my dead skin cells yet is gentle on my skin (not ripping it to shreds-nobody wants that). So when a company called Meraki asked me to review their salt scrub I was really excited. Meraki is a new company which I hadn't heard of before and I find these companies tend to make some of the best products.

What they say

'Exfoliate once or twice a week to achieve a softer and healthier skin. Exfoliating stimulates blood flow, removes dead skin cells, helps detox your skin and aids your skin in absorbing moisture. In summer or when using spray tan exfoliating is even more important because it helps you obtain an even tan. Apply a small amount of salt scrub to damp skin and massage gently in circular motion. Rinse thoroughly. Suitable for all skin types. Store at room temperature. Warning: Not for facial use. Finish off by applying Meraki Body Lotion to keep your skin moisturized.'

Firstly I love how this is packaged. I love these glass jars, not only can you get every last scrap of product out they also look super cute and vintage.
The pro's for this scrub are; the texture is really creamy/oily and the granuals feel like sugar, all the ingredients feel very natural, It was very gentle on myskin and it left my skin feeling really soft and moisturised too. The con's of this for me; can be messy, I take a scoop out and due it being so soft and creamy I did loose some of it before it made it to my skin. The smell, now a lot of you will love this scent but anyone who knows me well knows I hate anything citrussy and this has a lemony scent. Overall I love how this scrub makes my skin feel and even though I don't love the scent I would still purchase this and I use this as a luxury in the tub a few days a week.
