Have color in… your home
There are so many interior design ‘rules’ out there! One of them is that you should limit how much color your have in your home. But the main reason this is suggested is that it makes it easier to sell. If you aren’t planning on selling anytime soon, go for it! It is your home, and you should do what you wish; not follow rules! Make a big commitment by painting a feature wall in a bright color. Or update your furnishings and make those more bright and colorful. Liven up a gray sofa with a scattering of yellow cushions. Add some interest to your white bathroom with a pillar box red door mat. Have color in… your hair
If you’ve only ever had your hair one color, it could be time for a change. Black, brunette, blonde and ginger shouldn’t be your only restrictions. How about a dusky pink, which looks great on blonde hair? Or, if you are a brunette, how about some deep purple ombre. Or erase color all together and go for white! Or gray, which is very en-vogue at the moment. A word of warning, though! Consider your workplace and whether or not your boss will mind. If you think he or she will, try this. Just have the color applied to your ends, below your ears. This way you can fold it under and tie it back, and no one will be any the wiser!

Right at the start of the chain, cosmetic factory staff work hard to develop the brightest and more stunning colors for products. Lipstick is a prime example of where you can see this hard work. It is also great way to give your makeup look more colorful! There are a lot of genius beauty tips out there to help you give your makeup staying power. Here is a great one to map your colored lipstick last longer. Once you’ve applied your lipstick, pop a thin tissue over the top. Brush with translucent powder and remove. This will help keep your color bright and your lipstick in place all day!

Though you might have to keep your computer on there, why not make everything else a little more colorful? Change that black desklamp for a bright yellow one. Add a pot of flowers in a warm and summery color, like orange and red. Get colored pen pots and a stack of brightly colored sticky notes. If you think you can get away with it, get some USB fairy lights! You’ll be happy to get to work each morning with such a welcoming desk waiting for you!
