A Valentine's Day Wish List: For Her

Ladies and gents, we have just over two weeks until Valentine’s day! Have you got anything planned? It can be tricky to know the right thing to choose. I am in the camp that it should just be a gesture gift rather than one that costs a lot. We’ve just had Christmas gifts to buy so we don’t want to spend lots. Plus, I think it is important to spoil your love all year round, and not just on one specific day a year. So here are a few ideas to get for the girl in your life. She will love them but you won’t have spent a lot.

Personalise a Gift

There are a lot of gifts that you can personalise. A photo frame, an item of clothing, or an accessory. It doesn’t have to cost a lot but it means a lot. I think more girls are about the thought that counts (well I am anyway)! I have seen some cute tablet and laptop cases recently that you can customise and personalise. You could use their name or a put some of their favourite pictures on it. You can also get some personalised phone covers that look great too. A good place to get some inspiration is Put a Case on Me. I quite like the marble look for a phone cover; that is popular at the moment.

Scented Candles

I don’t know many women (or men for that matter), that do not appreciate a scented candle in their life. There are so many gorgeous scents to choose from. If they have a favourite scent, then you could go for that. If not, you could choose a seasonal one and go from there. I don’t think there are many bad ones, though. Choosing Yankee Candle is a safe option to go with. I think they are reasonably priced too.

Food & Drink

Chocolates probably aren’t a good option but I think a drink gift set is a good idea. How about a hamper with Prosecco, or Baileys and a glass gift set? If they aren’t a big drinker, then a hot chocolate set is a good idea. Make sure the mug is nice and big and that the marshmallows are too!

Gym Kit

You may not be able to stretch to a new pair of trainers but something you can use to work out is an awesome idea. Go for a funky water bottle or a yoga mat. You could even get them a gym top or bag. Your girl needs to like working out, though. Otherwise, they might take it the wrong way!

Arrange a Date Night

Overall, I think one of the best gifts would be for a pre-arranged date night. Being given a note to be ready at a certain time would be such a nice surprise. Nothing is better than being taken out and treated, especially if it is all planned out for you. It will score you big brownie points; that is for sure.

Have a happy Valentine’s Day!
