Fantastic Hair Removal Tips All Girls Should Know

There is one thing that really bugs me - facial hair. Beards and tashes might look stylish on men, but for us ladies, they are nothing but trouble.
Of all the beauty issues that affect us, I honestly believe that nothing is more embarrassing than facial hair. It might be a common problem, but that doesn’t make it any less upsetting. Whether you have dark, coarse hair or a little bit of fuzz, it can be hard to know what the best way to deal with it is.

Luckily for us, hair removal treatments have come a long way. We now have plenty of options to get rid of those pesky hairs, many of which are pain-free.
Hair removal cream
If you are a fan of pain-free hair removal, using a removal cream is a good option. While you could opt for an unbranded product, it’s best to go for Veet, or another well-known brand, as you know that the quality of the products is high.
How hair removal cream works is simple - the cream dissolves the proteins in the hairs. Pretty amazing, right? The only downside is that if you leave it on for too long, it can start to dissolve the skin as well, so timing is crucial.
While pain-free, as long as you don’t leave it on for too long, that is, removal cream only gets rid of facial hair for a short time. Depending on the speed at which your hair grows, the treatment can last from two days to two weeks.
Laser removal
If you want a treatment that has long-term results, laser hair removal is the perfect option. While this has to be performed by a trained technician, it is incredibly effective.
However, it doesn’t give quick results; you’ll need to wait six to 10 treatments to see the effects. (They are worth waiting for, though, I promise.)
The best thing about laser hair removal is that after your first few treatments, you will only need to go back twice a year for touch up treatments. Imagine not having to worry about hair removal for six months at a time - pretty cool, right?
The only thing to be aware of is that if done incorrectly, the treatment can lead to burning. So make sure to opt for a trained professional for your treatment. Otherwise, you could be left with unsightly scars.
Waxing
One of the most popular treatments for facial hair, waxing, can be done at home or by a beautician. Admittedly, it can be a little painful, but the pain only lasts for a few seconds, so isn’t anything to worry about.
If you choose to do it yourself, there are lots of home waxing kits available, from ready to use strips to pots of wax that you heat up. It’s up to you what you choose to use. However, the pots of heated wax tend to have better results, as they are stickier and grab onto the hairs a little better.
Whether you opt to go down the DIY waxing route or choose to see a beautician, the treatment should remove hair for three to six weeks.
Facial hair can be embarrassing for us girls. However, by choosing one of the removal methods above, you won’t need to worry about growing a beard, for a few weeks at least.
