Georgia Louise Butterfly Stone | Review

A while ago I came across this butterfly stone in a magazine and I was intrigued.

What it claims
'The Lift & Sculpt Butterfly Stone has many healing and anti-ageing benefits.  Regular massaging with this stone will help to drain puffiness and unwanted toxins, contour the face and help smooth fine lines and wrinkles. This product is LOVED by A Listers including Jennifer Aniston and Linda Evangelista. Its the most natural and easiest tool to use.'

What is it?
This butterfly stone is made of rose quartz, which is soft pink in colour and is often referred to as the 'ice of the gods'. Rose quartz has long been used in beauty rituals across the world and is famed for its healing properties. This stone is used to massage the face and neck to help reduce puffiness, drain unwanted toxins and help smooth fine lines and wrinkles. This stone is also the perfect shape to massage the difficult to reach contours of the face.

Review
I have been using this stone for a few months, every other day. I love the little instruction leaflet provided and whilst the massage techniques feel lovely and relaxing on my skin, I can't say I have noticed any huge 'lift and sculpt' effects to my face or neck. However, I have noticed my skin looks much clearer and more glowing since using this massage stone so I will continue to use this. The full massage routine only takes roughly 10 minutes and I apply facial oil prior to the massage to prevent any tugging on the skin. I would definitely recommend this butterfly stone if you are looking for something non-abrasive and a little different to try for anti-ageing benefits.
Available at Space NK, £29.00.

  1. Interesting product. It looks so cute and would make a great gift and I'm so curious to try this out for myself, I'm just not sure about the £30 price tag, though I guess it's unlikely to ever need replacing!

    1. Yes I also thought the price tag is a little steep and I'm not totally sure it's worth that price but on the other hand I am glad I purchased it
