Not only is yoga a great form of exercise but it is also an excellent form of relaxation. The slow pace and breathing exercises really help you to relax.
One of my favourite ways to relax is to play some chillout music. My favourite is Moods album.
Whether it is a book or a magazine I always feel reading really relaxes me, so much so I often fall asleep.
I love to just soak in a lovely hot bath, it is my 'me time'. I also like to add a Lush bubble bar if I feel stressed to make me feel better.
This one may be hard to tackle for some of you but I like to switch off my phone from time to time so I don't get bombarded with text messages, phone calls or e-mails. I'm also not tempted to check social media or play games. Cuddle up with a good for an hour instead and enjoy some technology- free time.
I must admit I am one of those girls who is addicted to candles. They smell amazing and those little flames have huge relaxing powers on me.
I enjoy learning about aromatherapy and I do believe there is a scent which can help every ailment. For relaxation try Lavender, Chamomile or Ylang Ylang.
A warm herbal tea
I am rather late on the 'herbal tea band wagon' but I really enjoy them and I really do think they work. Try chamomile for relaxation.
