One of my other gift sets I received for Christmas was by Soap and Glory. I have only used two of the products so far but I wanted to review these for you today.
The scrub of your life
Info from the company
'It’s thick, it’s foamy, it’s fantastically fresh, it’s satisfyingly stuffed with just the right ratio of scrubbing beads. Scented with our Original Pink fragrance.'
I love all Soap and Glory's packaging, the bright colours and cool slogans always catch my attention. This Scrub comes in a tube with a snap-open lid. These are my favourite types to use in the bath or shower because they are easy to open and they keep the water out, not ruining any of the product.
It goes without saying I love soap and glory products in general, it is rare that I come across one that I don't like and this is no exception. First of all the scent, it has that classic fruity scent which I adore. When I use a body scrub I like to feel like it is actually doing something for my skin and this one really does that. The exfoliating beads feel quite powerful at removing the dead skins cells and after i get out of the bath my skin feels lovely and smooth. This scrub also has a thick, creamy texture and lathers up really well. Overall I will definitely be re- purchasing this body scrub as it is one of my faves I have ever tried.
£7.00 for 200ml.
The righteous butter
Info from the company
'Award winning body butter with softening shea butter and aloe vera. Smooth on a handful after your shower and you might swear you're wearing velvet. Scented with our Original Pink fragrance.'
As previously mentioned I love all of Soap and Glory's packaging; pink tubs, cute slogans and retro images, whats not to love. As you can see this comes in a simple round tub with a twist-off lid. The packaging is really sturdy and easy to use. You can also use every last drop of product up easily.
This has to be one of my favorite body butters. The scent is the same as the scrub, which again, I adore. Another amazing thing about this product is the thickness. Thanks to the shea butter it is really moisturizing and the aloe vera also makes this calming on the skin. Despite this butter being very thick it applies easily and sinks into the skin quickly. As you can tell I will definitely be re-purchasing this body butter once I run out.
£10.50 for 300ml.
